Ways to simplify your life

Simplifying your life will give you more energy, time, and space. The more space you have, the freer you'll be to true way enjoy everything. Here are certain ways to simplify every zone of your life.

Simplifying your life does blend many different actions and aspects. And it’s one of those terms that can really denote whatever you need it to mean. Whatever definition assists you to decide what’s significant in your life, and what’s just adding distractions and clutter.

WATCH LESS TV. For most of my life chain, I was an obsessive Television watcher. If I was home, the Television was on, whether I was watching it or not. I just loved the noise in the background.

This changed after I explored minimalism. I got rid of my Television and went without from 2012-to 2017.

We’ve since decided to own a Television again but taking a break fully changed my viewing manners. I no longer watch it mindless way; instead, I’m intentional about only turning it on when there’s something particular I need to watch.

It’s a tiny change but I definitely feel like it makes my life pretty simple. As a family, we just enjoy each other’s company, spend more time talking, and listen to music, when the Television is off.

Declutter your house. Your environment influence how you feel psychologically and physically. Whether you waste time lookout for misplaced stuff, or you progress overwhelmed every time you open your closet, having too much stuff wastes out your resources.

An organized, clean space supports you to feel more energetic and productive than when you're living among piles of dishes, heaps of clothes, and stacks of papers.

Live in Fullscreen Mode. My favorite manner of going through my father is to do everything in fullscreen mode. When I can remember. That denotes if I’m answering emails, I provide myself full space to learn and reply to every email instead of having a hundred tabs open. If I’m writing, I’m just penning up. If I’m eating, I’m just doing that thing only.

For sure, I don’t always do this, but when I do, trending in motivation life cycle feels so much more simple. Each activity is the generous way given its own space, and I enjoy each more.

Fully be available for every activity, from washing a dish to brushing your teeth to reading a novel.

Actions/tools: I love the One tab extension for a Chrome browser, to clean away all the extraneous tabs and provide complete attention to one thing. Full-screen writing apps. Shut down all apps on your mobile but the one you’re reading. Turn off things when you’re doing individually analog.

Weekly Clearing Ritual. Every week, you might consider a ritual where you clean out everything. Saturday is a good day for it, but so is Sunday.

Spend a tiny time cleaning out your different inboxes, getting them to zero. Clean out your table and download folder/computer desktop. Get your to-do list and calendar in great shape. Clear out papers and clutter.

This clearing ritual feels awesome! You are ready to take on the universe.

Actions/tools: Set aside a time to your calendar every week for a clearing ritual. Go through everything you can and get your physical and digital life cleared. Bonus: have a ritual for money matters as well.

Slow Down & Enjoy Quietude. You don’t want any material matters in order to slow down. You just do lesser, and flavor each activity. Take some breaths, and offer yourself more space. Leave space between matters, and enjoy that in-between space.

Observe when there are moments of silence, and savor that as well. Develop moments of quiet if required.

This is the gain of living a simple life, this spaciousness, and slowness, but it can also be a route to the simple life. Slow down to a more simplified life.

Actions/tools: This month, society and people put a note for everyone to slow down, and see what that thing might be like for you.

Create systems and routines. If you have specified routines and systems in place for your everyday life, then everyday matters will be far easier. For example, hang your car keys in an exact similar spot each time you walk into the home. Then, you’ll never be hectically looking for them when you’re trying to hurry out for work the next day. Or choose to pay all bills on a specified day of every month. If a workout routine is significant to you, try to stay consistent by selecting the same times/days for every week.

Cut out, toxic humans. Whether you have a buddy who explores an issue for every solution or a cousin who calls every day to complain about how unfair the universe is, False human can take up a lot of space in your life.

While you must not cut humans out of your life just as they're going through tough times, setting healthy boundaries is significant.
