How to follow your intuition

I have faith in intuitions and motivations...I sometimes FEEL that I am True. I do not KNOW that I am. Every human on the planet has intuition but not every human listens chooses to listen to it.

Intuition is the manner the subconscious mind communicates with the conscious mind. The information that informs ‘that emotion is real. It’s like any other decision but the workings of it – the collection, the storage, the putting together – occur outside of our conscious mind. So intuition is an excellent thing.

Developing Your Intuition
Pen up about your feelings.
Motivational quotes lead to keeping a journal can be a nice way to get in touch with your emotions and unlock your intuitive side. Pen out whatever you are thinking or feeling about without worrying about rationalization or your judgmental inner voice. Stream of consciousness writing, or just jotting down the initial word or thought that pops into your mind, can assist you to become more aware of what’s going on in your subconscious brain.

Meditate. Meditation can support you to become more in sync with the intuitive signals your body cells are sending you. Try some basic meditation techniques to support you become more mindful of your physical state.

•            Find a comfortable and silent place to meditate where you will not be bothered or distracted.

•            Close your eyes, sit in a comfortable position, and concentrate on the sensations of your own breathing. If your brain wanders, gently redirect your energy score to your breathing.

Distract yourself. While it may seem illogical, distraction can actually support you come to a decision. Your brain processes information on a subconscious level even if you are not actively concentrating on it or thinking about it. If you discover yourself struggling to make a decision, do something else for a while. Then return to the issue, and go with the decision that feels true.

Sleep on it. Sleep is significant for resting and repairing our minds and bodies, and it also assists process information that we take in during the day. If you’re having difficulty making a decision, try putting it aside and getting some sound sleep. When you wake up, you may discover that your intuition has led you to a decision.

Knowing When to Use Your Intuition
Use your knowledge and common sense.
If you are in an unfamiliar circumstance, trying to solve a complex issue, or want to make a significant decision, do some research or seek advice before letting your gut take over. Your intuition will work better for you if you apply it along with reasonable expectations, practical knowledge, and an understanding of your options.

Listen to your intuition in familiar situations. Our brains are fair at recognizing patterns. This permits us to come to decisions quickly and without much conscious thought. You have probably utilized this kind of intuition while riding a bicycle or driving. Once you’ve practiced something a few times (like playing a sport, giving a speech, or performing a musical piece), try letting go and let your intuition take over instead of referring to your notes, look at the clock, or thinking about every step.

Listen to your instincts about your health. You understand your body better than anyone else. If you feel that something is false, even if it’s fine or you can’t clearly explain it, seek medical attention or advice. You may also construct a strong intuition about the health needs of people you are close to. If you are the guardian or parent of a child, or if you live with someone who has health issues, pay attention to your intuitive signals about their condition. You may get the sense that something is going negative even if they do not bring it to your attention or observe it themselves.

Let your intuition help you with big decisions. If you’re faced with a bigger choice like making a major purchase, deciding which school to go to, or getting married, practical and logical considerations are significant. But once you’ve weighed all the positive and negative and limited down your options, you are likely to get the satisfaction out of your choice if you let intuition lead you to a fair decision.

Listen to your gut.
Your “gut-brain” may let you identify that you’re excited or stressed before your brain does by giving you a stomach ache, a feeling of butterflies in your stomach, or that distinctive sinking feeling that you get when you hear rough news.

•            If your stomach feels uncomfortable or hurts when you’re dealing with or even thinking about the particular situation or people, this is maybe your body telling you that they are a source of stress for you. Be aware of signals, and take a break or ignore the triggering situation or human if possible.

You will never follow your own inner voice until you clear up the declutter doubts in your brain cells.

Follow your nose. You may not always be aware of it, but read inspirational blogs and your sense of smell can be a powerful survival kit. Your nose can tell you if something is pretty unsafe to eat, and can even support you evaluate another human emotional or physical state. Boost your sense of smell by exercise regularly and ignoring pollutants that destroy your sense of smell, like cigarette smoke.

Use your eyes. When you dive into an unfamiliar situation, take a quick look around. Even if you aren’t consciously aware of everything you’re watching, your eyes may pick up on significant visual cues that can add up to intuitive responses. For example, you may subconsciously pick up on subtle changes in other human facial expressions or body language beyond what is immediately obvious. If something seems amiss or alarming about a human or circumstance, it might be because your eyes noticed something that your brain didn’t.

Pay attention to your physical reactions. Uncomfortable or dangerous situations may trigger a physical stress response. In addition to an upset stomach, you might feel your heart racing and your palms sweating. In some cases, our bodies pick up on the signs that something is amiss before our minds do.

Listen. It sounds plain enough – and it is. No tricks here. Your intuition can’t talk to you if you’re not a good listener. When you start to take notice, nice things will occur. Just try it and see.

Feel. You’ll know your intuition is there as you’ll be able to feel it – if you let yourself. You’ll feel it as it will goosebump your skin, quicken your breath, and race your heart. Sometimes it’s even more subtle and the only manner to describe it as a ‘knowing’.  You’ll feel when something is right – it will feel enriching, clear, and nourishing. And you’ll feel when something is off – for you it’s an ache or a flattening. Trusting your intuition might be tough at the initial stage if you’re not used to it, but give it trust and time it bit by bit if that feels better. It will be worth it.

Be conscious about the people you hang on to. People who evacuate you will add to the noise and make it tougher to hear what your intuition wants you to hear. Chances are that you already identify how they are. If not, be still for a moment – your intuition will be trying to say you. Keep people who empower and enrich you and walk away from those who drain you.

Pay attention to what’s going on around you. The more information you are able to gather from the surroundings, the more the intuitive, subconscious part of your mind has to work with – and the more accurately it will inform your decisions.

Connect with others. There are so many matters that inform our decisions and opinions other than speech. The volume of speech, tone, gestures, body language– all contribute to the meaning we give to our interactions with humans. Sometimes, we have an emotion about individuals but can’t quite put a finger on what it is. Persons might seem distant, uninterested, distracted, and often these aren’t spoken but are ‘picked up’ through in various ways. The ability to pick up on the intentions, thoughts, and feelings of others is referred to as ‘empathic accuracy. The more time we spend with humans, the more we can finely tune our empathic accuracy. Being able to pick on the signals of others will all contribute to intuition.

Find time to be still and silent. Having solitude turns down the clamor of the planet and permits you to tune in to your intuition. Inspirational quotes of life and intuition are always sending encouragement and warnings but often we are too busy to observe. Let your brain wander and be open to what comes to you – words, feelings, or thoughts. One of the manner to do this is through mindfulness. By concentrating your thoughts on your own experience in the present moment, mindfulness gets rid of mental clutter and makes the pathway for you to connect with your intuition.
