So what is mindfulness, anyway?
Be Consciously Present. Being mindful at work denotes being aware of, at all times, at that moment, what you are doing while you are doing it. It also blends managing your emotional and mental state. If you are developing a proposal or a report for the big cheese or the little man, mindfulness wants that you give it your full attention. Each time your brain wanders to matters like that funny dog video you watched or what you read on Instagram about the Kardashians, acknowledge the thoughts and then bring your brain back to the project at hand.
• Use alarms on your cell phone: Do this even if your mobile phone is on vibrate so that it’s not driving your coworkers mad.
