Coldplay formed in London in 1996 is a British rock band. Lead guitarist Jonny Buckland, Vocalist, pianist, and rhythm guitarist Chris Martin, drummer Will Champion and bassist Guy Berryman met at University College London and started playing music together from 1996 to 1998, first calling themselves Pectoralz and then Starfish before ultimately changing their name to Coldplay. Their former manager and creative director Phil Harvey is the fifth member of the band.
Their music has a superhuman (great) power to dissolve all your tension. Their music makes you feel pretty energetic the whole time. Their songs have that degree of potential that enlarges your power to enjoy the spices of life. Most of the time they present and perform to provide money for charities. They are great humanitarian too. Coldplay is a leader in the fight against global hardship and poverty. The band gives out a powerful voice (and hand) to causes such as HIV/AIDS, education, environmental sustainability, disaster relief, and human rights, inspiring people and expanding potential reach in the process. Coldplay has supported various political and social causes, such as Oxfam's Amnesty International and Make Trade Fair campaign.
In most of Coldplay’s work, the song blends sadness, brushes of optimism, and a generous view of the world. Simple guitar chords are suddenly suffused with Chris Martin’s rich voice and the warmth of a bassline. As always amazed by how lovely it sounds. And some of Coldplay’s music, their songs shows a door into the band’s worldview. You see their worldview as acknowledge that inequalities abound in the globe, but action can be taken to address them. They are already one of the biggest and best bands of all time. Having sold more than 100 million records, played stadiums all over the world, and released countless hits for over a decade now, they have done the most successful world tours ever. They have won numerous awards throughout their career, including seven MTV Video Music Awards, nine Brit Awards, seven Grammy Awards from 35 nominations, and eight MTV Europe Music Awards.
