Amul is a Gujarat based cooperative dairy company that manufactures dairy products. It is a cooperative society and produces FMCG goods such as milk, butter, cream, cheese. Headquartered in Anand, Gujarat, India as it was established in 1946 by Tribhuvandas Patel.
The company gave rise to a revenue of ₹38,000 crores in the financial year 2018-2019. In 1973, Amul honored its 25th anniversary. In 1999, Amul welcomed the Best of all Rajiv Gandhi National Quality Award. In India, it is a wide-reaching food product marketing organization. Amul dive into the chocolate market and started its chocolate factory in Mogar on 30th September 2018. Amul vend almost 4,00,000-5,00,000 liters of milk per day thus flattering the market leader in the packaged milk segment. In 2009-2010, The Company be victorious in the Golden Trophy for Outstanding Export Performance Award. In 2014, Amul achieve the Best Marketing Campaign award.
About the Logo of Amul. In 1946,although the company was established, the authentic campaigns and logo came into existence in 1966. The company employed Sylvester da Cunha, Managing Director of the Mumbai based DaCunha ad agency. The charm that we look at today in Amul’s advertisements is familiar as the Amul Girl and was designed by Eustace Fernandes. He was basically an art director in the DaCunha ad agency.
The Amul logo has always been the wordmark. The company is using it since its establishment although the slogans have been changed. In 1994, the current slogan was adopted when Amul employed a new advertising agency. It was the Mumbai based Advertising and Sales Promotion (ASP) and Shri Kanon Krishna sketched the new logo and slogan heart-warming every aspect of the brand.
