Pluto, also called Pluto the Pup, is a cartoon dog designed in 1930 at Walt Disney Productions. He is medium-sized, a yellow-orange color, short-haired dog with black ears. Unlike many Disney persona, Pluto is not anthropomorphic beyond some features such as facial expression. He is Mickey Mouse's pet.
While Pluto doesn't talk he does have distinguishing sounds and there are voice actors required to voice him. The indigenous voice of Pluto was Pinto Colvig; followed by James MacDonald, Lee Miller Sr, and Clarence Nash. The present voice of Pluto is Bill Farmer. While brilliant enough, Pluto has a childlike persona. Pluto was at first a minor character before he was specified his own standalone - Playful Pluto. The only words ever said by Pluto is Kiss me. He behave as Mickey's sidekick, conscience on some occasions, more significantly, his best buddy and adorable pet. He is immensely loyal. Pluto is also famous for his strong sense of smell. According to Mickey, Pluto can explore anything and anybody with his nose. He is many times paired with Mickey, Minnie, Donald or Chip and Dale.
