Circus

The circus is a unique formation, a joyous planet. We tend to neglect, though: it is also a place of refuge. It is a society melodious in itself, a way of life that is unimaginable in any other theatre of life. If activists or governments have the power to ban, then equally they have the ability to monitor cruelty or abuse. To lose track of this extraordinary ocean is to overlook something of intrinsic value in the urban jungle.

Mélange of activity, as beasts, men, and women came together. A fantastical world was designed—of the quickened heart, of laughter, of fear, of danger, of sublime joy. Suddenly the child’s brain registered the possibility of an extended world, the closeness of man and beast bound by a deep animal momentum that ran through the blood, the impulsion of a primal love.

The circus is NOT lifeless! In spite of the closing of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey (May 2017), circus performances continue to amuse and amaze audiences in the United States and around the world. Extreme few of these circuses have animal acts; others do not.

Though the animals are banned and the thrill is somewhere die out, but the persons remain extraordinary. Do you aim to evoke the memories of childhood joy?
